DeSantis refuses to remove malicious Soros-funded “ERIC” voter roll software

I think it should go without saying – there should be no “Soros-financed” anything near our elections. Now, I know they won’t stop using that garbage in blue states, but why in the name of all that is holy would we use this garbage in red states? Especially a red state like Florida? After DeSantis rejected the Soros-funded “ERIC” voter roll software that many called “malicious” and “rigged,” that’s a question on many minds.

Gee, imagine, right?

Big League Politics reports that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis likes to pretend that his state is on the cutting edge of implementing conservatism within the Republican Party and setting policies that push back liberalism.

However, on the issue of election integrity, DeSantis’ record is questionable, especially considering his administration’s embrace of the far-left-funded Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC).

The American Policy Center (APC) revealed that DeSantis’ administration is scoffing at election integrity activists’ concerns about the ERIC system, which has been shown to inflate and misrepresent voter rolls to bolster the Democrat political machine.

According to the APC report, Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd told election integrity workers during a private meeting that “Florida loves ERIC,” and that their concerns can be discounted because they use ERIC “a little differently” than other states. Research by the Florida Republican Assembly and The People’s Audit, two of Florida’s leading election integrity organizations, found that the administration of ERIC in Florida is no less harmful than its use elsewhere.

They found more than half a million bad or “disputed” addresses on the voter list because of ERIC’s mistakes. In addition, it was found that bad addresses on the rolls led to undecided mail being deposited in unsecured storage facilities, opening additional avenues for voter fraud and wasting taxpayers’ money.

Red states, most recently Louisiana and Alabama, have dropped ERIC or are in the process of doing so. Florida, on the other hand, is doubling down on shady systems under DeSantis. Could it be due to hubris, incompetence, or is there a more nefarious motive behind the seemingly understandable behavior of the DeSantis administration?

Iconic political operative and journalist Roger Stone reported how DeSantis hired a far-left demagogue to lead Florida’s state Department of Motor Vehicles, giving this nefarious interloper access to sensitive voter data.

There is no excuse for that. We need to get Soros out of our government, politics and especially our elections.
