Did Rihanna pull a “fast one” on the Super Bowl audience?

The Super Bowl made a lot of waves, but for all the wrong reasons. People didn’t talk about it because the entertainment and commercials were amazing. They were talking about it because the entertainment was terrible, and the commercials were awake and lazy. Basically, the left completely ruined the Super Bowl. They destroy everything they touch. Rihanna was the headliner and many, including President Trump, criticized her terrible performance.

And now Rhianna has stirred a hornet’s nest, regarding a “lip-syncing” scandal.

Did Rhianna pull a quick-one on us all?

The New York Post reports that not everyone was impressed with Rihanna’s electric performance at Super Bowl LVII during the action-packed game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs at Arizona’s State Farm Stadium.

Many social media watchdogs are accusing the Barbadian pop icon of “lip-syncing” through the show, with some calling it the “worst” breach in halftime show history.

Despite not performing solo live since 2016, Rihanna didn’t seem to miss a beat, cycling through a medley of her greatest hits, from “Umbrella” to “Work” in just 13 minutes. If that wasn’t impressive enough, the “We Found Love” singer announced that she’s pregnant with her second child, holding her belly during the show.

She was subsequently praised by fans online, with some claiming she made a “powerful statement” for women around the world.

Unfortunately, Rihanna’s impressive rendition of “Umbrella” didn’t stop the song’s critics from raining on her parade: Many accused the pop star of miming the words to pre-recorded tracks rather than performing live.

“Amazing how Rihanna can sing even when she puts the mic to one side and doesn’t move her lips at all,” snarked one viewer at her alleged reverse karaoke.

“Too bad Rihanna is lip-syncing,” lamented another, along with footage of her cover of Kanye West’s “All of the Lights,” where her lips and lyrics seem to sync alongside the kung-fu movie dub.

“You know I love you but this is the worst lip ever [sic] Never omg,” another offended tweeted, while one wrote, “Lip-syncing should not be allowed at the Super Bowl.”

One frustrated fan gushed, “Rihanna doesn’t even have the mic near her face when she plays the lyrics. Why bother doing the halftime show if you’re not even going to try to lip sync, freak.”

Rihanna is one of many pop stars accused of speaking their lyrics during the Super Bowl halftime performance, along with other alleged infringers, including Katy Perry and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I always assume that most of these entertainers are talentless phonies who only sound “decent” because the producers add a lot of background vocals and electronics to their tracks.

Hollywood is all smoke and mirrors and everything you see is made up and fake. Much like DC and our government…
