During the Republican response to the State of the Union speech, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AK) criticized Joe Biden’s record on inflation and charged that Democrats are waging a culture war based on left-wing bigotry.
Sanders claimed in remarks in Little Rock that the Biden administration has botched its response to the national cost-of-living crisis by failing to protect American values.

You pay taxes in Washington, which burns your hard-earned money. However, you are crushed by high gas prices, empty supermarket aisles, and the incitement of racial hatred in our youth, Sanders continued. Whether Joe Biden believes in this lunacy or is helpless to oppose it, the radical left has fully embraced his administration.
Americans expect their leaders to act with common sense, but according to Sanders, the Biden administration in Washington is intensifying its irrationality.
He also rejected the president’s claims in his speech at the Capitol, criticizing the Biden administration’s handling of the nation’s economic situation. In a proposal popularized by Trump in 2016, Biden on Tuesday pledged to invest in a fractured America. Trump has already said he will run for office again in 2024.
Sanders strongly argued that the next generation of Republican leaders “should be changemakers for the American people, not maintainers of the status quo.” Sanders criticized Democrats and Biden for how they handled the border and China.
A budding talent is often introduced to a national audience during a lecture. As the public face of the White House during her two-year stint as former President Donald Trump’s press secretary, Sanders, Arkansas’ first female governor and the nation’s youngest governor, saw her rise to prominence.
The choice of Sanders to be the party’s spokesman at the most important political event of the year underscores the precarious position Republicans find themselves in, in a party transformed by Trump and sidelined by disappointing midterm election results.
Sanders was invited to respond by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who referred to him as a “strong advocate for popular, commonsense conservative ideals that will bring our country back. A Good course.”
The Republican Governors Association released a statement endorsing the GOP governors that read, “Governor Sanders showed tonight that Republican governors are delivering on their promises to our voters even as Washington is in the midst of dysfunction and disaster.” Americans look to their states for a system of good government that promotes equality of opportunity, freedom of energy, and educational freedom.
Sanders’ speech came after Biden’s first State of the Union address, in which the president pledged to invest in revitalizing “neglected places and people” as a result of four decades of globalization. Biden’s speech was delivered to a divided Congress. On Tuesday, Biden outlined his case to voters for re-election to a fourth term, relying on the idea that he has achieved significant legislative achievements that improve the lives of middle-class citizens.
Biden spoke for more than an hour before bringing up the Ukraine conflict, a significant international development that has put pressure on prices domestically and internationally by driving up energy costs and raising commodity prices.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds gave the Republican response to Biden’s first State of the Union address last year. Reynolds, the state’s first female governor and leader of the Republican Governors Association, was once considered a possible running mate for former President Donald Trump.
